Families and friends can reserve a picnic table in one hour time slots between 10am and 3pm. Each table seats up to 6 persons.
Clay and tools are available for anyone to try their hand at making something from clay. Great for families looking for something creative to do while enjoying Trellis Bay.
We have shaded picnic tables on the beach available. Kids and adults alike can spend some time on the potter’s wheel, and Debbie Entwistle, potter at Trellis Bay since 2004, will be showing folks what to do.
Participation and use of clay and tools is completely free, but should you wish to keep your creation, it will need to be dried, fired, glazed and fired a second time by TerraForma. Costs for that start at $20 per small item, with family bundle pricing available if you have multiple items to fire.
If you don’t wish to keep anything, simply return the tools and clay to our display station. The clay will be reclaimed and used again at the next ClayPlay!
Kids must be supervised by an adult in their party.
