The evening starts around 6pm, with Debbie at TerraForma throwing pots on the wheel in front of Aragorn’s Studio. Any-one who’d like to have a go is guided through throwing a pot themselves. Folks are coming in to the bay to eat, with food on offer throughout the bay.

DJ’s are playing music, there’s usually at least one establishment in the bay with a live band and the evening is warming up!

At 9pm Debbie demonstrates a Raku Firing, drawing red-hot pottery from the fiery kiln and explaining the process to onlookers. Items fired are available for purchase later in the evening after cleaning.

Aragorn’s famous fireball sculptures get lit around 9.30pm, and the Moko Jumbies, the BVI’s extraordinary stilt dancers, come out to play with the partygoers.

It’s a magical night, with something for everyone.
